Cost

What it costs, from the people who charge it

We read the pages basement window installers publish, keep only what we can tie to a specific job, and show you where every number came from. No averages, no sponsored order, and no estimate of your particular basement.

Why the question splits in two, and which half your job is on.

How we get these numbers

Published, not estimated.

Every amount goes through three independent checks before it is allowed on the site, and we throw out far more than we keep. We also separate the price of a window from the price of a job: mixing the two produces a range that describes nothing.

Companies that never answer us stay listed with whatever they publish publicly, and giving us prices does not move anyone up a page.
